Cat Grooms

Many long haired cats require regular, if not daily brushing, but sometimes they are less than happy to have this done, causing their coats to be matted and knotty.

We are now pleased to announce that we offer a mobile cat grooming service. Cats don't enjoy being placed into a cage for a trip to the vet or groomers so we make it stressless by coming to you!

Natalie is a vet nurse and has been doing cat grooms for many years at the vet clinic where she's employed. She is now available to do home grooming visits which are stress free for your cat as she only does sedated grooms - there's no need to scruff them and risk being bitten or getting scratched by their super charged claws.

We offer belly clips, lion grooms, full brush outs, de-knotting and nail clipping. We do require that your cat is in good health with no underlying illnesses, and we do not groom cats that weight less than 2.5kg. If your cat is elderly, it is worth having a health check with your vet prior to being booked in for a groom with us. Your cat will need to remain indoors 24 hours after sedation.

We offer our service on the North Shore, Auckland, but can possibly travel further in the Auckland area with an additional travel surcharge.

Please submit an enquiry below including your cats age, breed and their coat condition, for example, severely matted, slightly knotty etc. The more information you provide the better.

Grooming costs

• Lion groom (severely matted) - $300

  Large mats all over or matted to the skin. This groom leaves boots, head and tail and the remainder of the body is shaved to just half a centimetre in length

• Lion groom (some matting present) - $250

  This groom leaves boots, head and tail - and the remainder of the body is shaved to just half a centimetre in length

• Tummy, bottom shave and brush-out - $220

  Tummy and bottom shave, and brush-out everywhere else

• Brush out and de-knot - $200

  This is a full-body brush-out and de-knot

• Belly and bottom shave - $180

  This is a full belly and bottom shave with minimal brushing-out

• Nail clip $30

  This is a non-sedated nail-clip

• Travel costs - $20-$40

  Travel costs will vary depending on where you are located on the Shore
